Setting a Webhook

To start using our webhooks, you will need to:

  1. Provide us with a URL which will be registered by us in the Bitpanda database.
  2. Optionally, you may provide us with an email to which we will deliver the notification. (For example, email confirmation for bank transfer notifications – send-money-success). You may have activated both email notification and webhook notification for every event, but we recommend doing it with caution, as it may load your inbox with plenty of emails.

After that, we will send a message in JSON format to the given URL every time a certain event occurs.

tip

Setting webhooks is optional and all information may be delivered using our endpoints, but we strongly recommend using webhooks as it is less resource-intensive.
